After our craft room video, we received so many questions about our Stamp-n-Storage items in our craft room we decided they needed a blog post all of their own!
This post and photos contain some Amazon or other affiliate links for your convenience. If you purchase something through any link, we may receive a small commission at no extra charge to you. We only recommend products we use and love. Read our full disclosure policy here.
If you watch our videos, you know we both loved scrapbooking and paper crafts prior to making homecoming mums & then later starting our business. Because of this we know how much paper you can collect when crafting and we were familiar with the amazing quality of Stamp-n-Storage products and were able to apply them in ways to organize our crafting space for our homecoming mum business.
Stamp-n-Storage comes in unfinished or white. If you choose unfinished you can leave it that way or paint it white yourself. I would suggest reading their paint policy to see which is right for you. Stamp-n-Storage products are very high quality and one of those investment pieces for your craft room that you will enjoy for many years to come. We add pieces each year as we look back at the season and ways we could craft more effciently.
Below are our favorite Stamp-n-Storage items and how we use them in our crafting business. We hope this gives you some ideas of ways to use these amazing products in your own crafting space.
This is one of the items in our craft room we get asked about the most. We love the fnished look of this tower and how it creates so much storage and makes our paper crafting supplies easily accessible to our cutting machine.
Kallax Unit (this is on wheels). We use all four sides of the IKEA Kallax to store our cutting mats, paper trimmer, large tape dispenser, stapler, Cricut pens and other basic crafting supplies we use often.
Stamp-n-Storage Inserts - we use the 12x12 Paper Holders (IKEA Kallax - 15 Slot). They come made for the IKEA Kallax or the standard size which is slightly taller and wider.
We like the 15 slot because it holds more variety, but the 12 slot may be right for you if you want to have a higher quanitity of one item. We use the paper spacers to keep our 8.5x11" paper from pushing back but they also make inserts for 8.5" x 11 paper. The paper sleeves are great for easy access to our larger scraps and have a tab to label your colors.
Storing Larger Cutouts - we use these large paper storage pockets from Stamp-n-Storage to store our larger pre-made cutouts that go on our flower heads. In fact, Stamp-n-Storage is the only place we have been able to find 12x12 hanging file folders!
We keep our scraps in the TE Simple Storage Cabinet from Stamp-n-Storage right by our Cricut Joy. They have several options and sizes to choose from. You can purchase the inserts from Stamp-n-Storage, Amazon, Hobby Lobby or Michaels. We talk about how we use our HTV scraps in our cut-out tutorial.
Photo Cases - we use these to store cut-outs as well closer to our cutting station. You can find them at Stamp-n-Storage, Amazon, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby
Above our TE Simple Storage Cabinet is a Creative Crate with 6x7 storage pockets to store pre-weeded vinyl for our personalized hangers. If you are a scrapbooker or card maker they make magnet cards that fit inside these pockets for die cuts.
